Survey on Vulnerable Group Development

Vulnerability refers to the inability to withstand the effects of a hostile environment. Vulnerable Group Development (VGD) is one of the largest safety net programmes assisted by the World Food Programme (WFP). It is targeted at poor and vulnerable women in Bangladesh. The ultimate goal of the programme is to bring sustainable improvement to the lives of ultra-poor households.To improve the quality of life and enhance the productive income generating opportunities of Vulnerable Group development women and strengthening the Department of Women Affairs. To provide life skill training on Income Generating Activities as well as on Nutrition, Primary Health, Human Rights, AIDs, Reproductive Health, Gender, Environment issues etc.
